Our Year 1 Health Science students got creative in the classroom as they used everyday items to represent the components of blood in preparation for their Cardio-System test!
Oil = Plasma
Red Hots = Erythrocytes (Red Blood Cells)
Beans = Leukocytes (White Blood Cells)
Rice = Thrombocytes (Platelets)
This interactive project helped them visualize how each component plays a crucial role in our bodies. Can't wait to see how their knowledge of the cardiovascular system has grown!
