From Mr. Marcus Autry," Tyrone Jenkins is a dynamic and well-liked secondary school teacher of History who strives to provide differentiated instructional activities to support the learning styles of all students. Jenkins integrates technology into his lessons and uses a variety of teaching strategies including games, and information-gap activities. He has become well-known for his ability to teach and facilitate the subject area. In addition to his excellence as a classroom teacher, he is and has been willing to provide mental, social and physical needs to all students . He has given many of our students learning opportunities and global experiences that they may never have received. In a short period of time the students have learned to admire and respect him, and the staff appreciates his drive and determination.
